THE INVITATION
For thousands of years, the yogic traditions have explored the relationship between body, breath, energy, attention and consciousness.
Today, nervous-system science and somatic research offer new perspectives on many of these same principles. In this immersive 3-hour practice, we will work deeply with asana, pranayama, meditation, mudra and contemplation, exploring how these practices influence the nervous system, shape our internal energy architecture and expand our capacity for awareness.
Moving between activation and regulation, effort and release, concentration and openness.
Refining your vessel.
We will explore our ability to remain present with greater sensation, energy, emotion and complexity. Together, we will bring ancient yogic wisdom into conversation with contemporary understandings of the nervous system, embodiment and expanding consciousness.
How much can you hold?
How deeply can you stay present?
What becomes possible when your capacity expands?
Asana · Pranayama · Meditation · Mudra · Contemplation
